Essen. In the tenth DSDS Season Susan Albers has been selected among the top 10 candidates. The 28-year-old makes music for years and has already released her own album. Now Susan Albers wants the breakthrough. “I’m going to show everyone what I’m capable of,” she says in an interview with the WAZ Media Group.

Susan‘s favorite jury member: “Bill Kaulitz surprised me insanely positive,” she says. “He’s been through so much, he is very pleasant and mature.” Even the clothing style of the Tokio Hotel singer was great. But singing a duet with him, she would rather not do it. “George Michael and Herbert Grönemeyer are my choice” dreams, Susan.

How does it feel when Bill gets to say: everything allright?

    “I have to admit that when I was twelve/thirteen I was a big Tokio Hotel fan. I can identify myself a little bit with Tommy because he’s a bit more tangible, somehow. I was already so inspired by Tomy back then. Not now by his style, but already for the career and the passion he has already inspired me, although that was not my music style back then. And somehow I still entrained it, and, of course, I never admitted it at school. (…) I like the jury somehow, especially Mateo who was wearing the same jacket than me. It was really cool.”

     “Tengo que admitir que cuando yo tenía doce / trece años era un gran fan de Tokio Hotel. Puedo identificarme un poco con Tommy porque él es un poco más tangible, de alguna manera. Yo estaba muy inspirado con Tomy en aquel entonces. Ahora no por su estilo, sino ya por la carrera y la pasión que él ya me ha inspirado, a pesar de que no era mi estilo de música en ese entonces. y de alguna manera todavía lo arrastro, y, por supuesto, nunca lo admití en la escuela. (.. .) Me gusta el jurado de alguna manera, sobre todo Mateo que llevaba la misma chaqueta que yo. Fue realmente genial.”
