Almost two years ago Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel (22) had retired. He was in GNTM. Now the teenager swarm ventured back into the public arena and says: In his appeal to (‘Top Model’ -) to the girls who didn’t recognize him because of his change.
The program on Thursday night is the “Stage Dive”: The models had to jump from the stage at the hands of fans. Although Jasmine GNTM competitor (17) bravely jumped into the crowd, the supermodel was sent home by the jury. The girls were helped by Bill on the set for professional Stage diving.
The candidate Inga (17) later admitted: “I was a fan of Tokio Hotel in elementary school when the band was completely new. I’ve even got their first album for birthday.”
Of course, the new look of the star was also a topic of conversation among young women. At first Inga didn’t recognize him. Melek (20) stated, “He has completely changed. Bill now looks much, much better than he was before.” Anna Belle (23) found “very good” his “new punk style”.
The girls were thrilled with the celebrity’s support in the shooting. Sarah Anessa (18): “There was a lot of fun with him and then his jump was even cooler. Bill has really helped me, to be loose and cool with stage diving.” And even though the star and the shy model came very close. “He just came to me, hugged me and said: “We will rock it out together!””
For Melek it was: “An honor to shoot with him. The star wasn’t arrogant or anything – quite the opposite,” added the model. Despite retiring from the scene, the star is actually down to the Earth. Exemplary!
The Life-Walk was hair: Candidates yop-model had to walk the catwalk in towering hairstyles. The challenge: Keeping the balance with tons of hair on the head. Jasmine could not convince the jury, even had to explain what they meant their poses. Even after a second round, there was denial by Heidi: A Jasmine is not allowed to enter the next round.

“Hey, Aliens! We just heard we won MTV’s Musical March Madness 2012.
Bill’s brother Tom then chimed in — from behind the wheel of what appears to be a rather large SUV (championship swag!) — with a parting shot that’s sure to anger plenty of fans of those other great bands, accusing them of attempting to bend the rules to bring Tokio Hotel down. But hey, he’s a champ now, and he can pretty much do whatever he wants.
“And they tried to cheat!” Tom joked.
“And they tried to cheat,” Bill laughed. “Thank you guys so much for voting! And we are so proud to have you guys, and we want to thank you for your patience. I know you’re waiting for the new record and we’re working on it really hard and we hope to see you guys pretty soon.
Thank you so much — we’re really proud of you.”

Yes, when MTV News caught up with the fast-rising hitmakers on Wednesday, they were quick to praise Tokio Hotel for their MMM win … and pimp their upcoming collaboration with Bill Kaulitz, too.
“Big congrats to Tokio Hotel, Bill Kaulitz and crew!” Far East’s Kev Nish said. “If you die tomorrow, at least you won today.”
See what he did there? For the uninitiated, “If I Die Tomorrow” is a song on Far East’s upcoming Dirty Bass album, which features collabos with the likes of Justin Bieber, LMFAO’s Redfoo and, of course, Kaulitz. And if featuring a member of TH on a track seems a bit off, well, let’s let Nish explain how the whole thing came to be.
“When we first signed to Cherrytree [Records], we went on the website and see who’s on the roster … how do you pick what label to go to, you know?” he said. “And we saw Tokio Hotel, and we were like ‘Yo, this band is wild.’ We were on a bus watching them on the MTV Europe Awards, winning, and we were like, ‘We need to do a song with those dudes.’
“So we got in with Bill Kaulitz and we just wanted to do a song about losing yourself, about possibly losing your mind, because you might die the next day,” he continued. “It’s called ‘If I Die Tomorrow,’ and it’s Bill Kaulitz and his incredible tone in our dirty bass world … and that’s kind of where dirty bass is going: unexpected collaborations.”
And given Tokio Hotel’s big MMM win, we think this may be the first of many Kaulitz collaborations. After all, when you’re on top, everyone wants a piece of you.
